Does your child:

✅ Enjoy structured art exploration with a focus on foundational skills like color, texture, and shape? → Adventure Artists
✅ Get excited about inventing, designing, and building things beyond traditional art? → Imagination Lab
✅ Prefer working on open-ended challenges that encourage problem-solving and collaboration? → Imagination Lab
✅ Like to create with a strong focus on individual artistic expression? → Adventure Artists
✅ Love creative play and making things that have a purpose, like gadgets, stories, or games? → Imagination Lab
✅ Thrive in a structured, skills-based art environment? → Adventure Artists
✅ Enjoy playful brainstorming and coming up with “out-of-the-box” ideas? → Imagination Lab
Second Graders
General Advice
If your child loves art and enjoys exploring materials and techniques, Adventure Artists will be a great fit.
If your child enjoys both creative thinking and making things beyond traditional art, Imagination Lab will give them opportunities to invent, problem-solve, and collaborate.
If they’re somewhere in between, consider whether they’d rather spend most of their time creating artwork (Adventure Artists) or solving creative challenges with a mix of art and hands-on projects (Imagination Lab).
Does your child:
✅ Love creative problem-solving, brainstorming, and hands-on building? → Imagination Lab
✅ Enjoy working on big, ambitious projects over multiple weeks? → World Builders
✅ Like teamwork and group challenges, but still want time for their own ideas? → Imagination Lab
✅ Get excited about designing entire worlds, stories, or large-scale projects? → World Builders
✅ Prefer open-ended, playful experimentation? → Imagination Lab
✅ Like to invent, tinker, and prototype creative ideas? → Imagination Lab
✅ Want to develop a large-scale idea over time—like building a city, designing a board game, or mapping out a fictional world? → World Builders
Fourth Graders
General Advice
If your child thrives on creative problem-solving and hands-on experiments, Imagination Lab is the better fit.
If your child wants to dive deep into immersive projects and world-building, World Builders is a great choice.
If they love both structured problem-solving and imaginative long-term projects, Imagination Lab may be a good transition before they move into World Builders in future sessions.
